Privacy policy

This policy explains what happens to the information you share with me through this website. The short version: I use it to reply to you, and that’s it.

Who I am

This website is run by Matthew Rissik, based in South Africa. You can reach me at matthew@matthewrissik.com.

What I collect

• What you type into the contact form or send by email: usually your name, email address, company, website and message.
• What you enter when you book a call: name, email, phone number if you give it, and any notes. The calendar is provided by a third-party scheduling tool and only loads on the booking page when you choose to open it.
• Basic technical data your browser sends to any website, such as IP address and browser type, which the hosting provider may log for security.

How I use it

• To reply to you and prepare for our call.
• To send a proposal or follow-up if you ask for one.
• To keep a record of our conversation in my CRM.

I don’t sell your information, and I don’t add you to a newsletter or cold email list because you got in touch.

Who else sees it

Only the services needed to run the site and my business: the website host, the scheduling and CRM tool behind the booking calendar, and my email provider.

How long I keep it

For as long as we’re in touch or working together, and then only as long as I reasonably need it for records. Ask and I’ll delete it sooner.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you at any time by emailing matthew@matthewrissik.com.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too. Questions? Get in touch.
