Durban SEO for B2B and service businesses: technical fixes, pages for the areas you serve, and a Google Business Profile that earns calls. All done by me.
the short answer
“SEO Durban” is what business owners search when they want to be found on Google by people in and around the city. Durban SEO means showing up in the map pack when someone nearby searches for what you do, and in the normal results when a buyer compares options. In practice that’s pages for the areas you actually serve, a complete Google Business Profile and a site that loads fast on a phone. It compounds over months, and it should be measured in calls and inquiries, not rankings alone. It’s the same local work I do for SEO across South Africa.
the problem
A buyer in Umhlanga and a buyer in Pinetown see different map results for the same search. A site with one page that says “serving greater Durban” rarely wins either, and the agency report still shows the ranking as green.
what I do about it
I fix the technical issues first, then build pages for the services and areas you genuinely cover, from Ballito down to the South Coast. Your Google Business Profile gets the same care as the website, and reporting starts with calls and inquiries.
pick one, or connect them all
Keyword research on buying searches, technical fixes, service and area pages, and Google Business Profile work. Monthly retainer with a 3-month minimum, or a one-off audit to start.
If the site is the bottleneck, I rebuild it with SEO in the structure, like the redesign and freight quote calculator I built for Silver Solutions Logistics. Typically 3–6 weeks.
SEO, website, outbound and CRM follow-up run as one system, with follow-up that replies in under two minutes. Across client campaigns: 2,000+ leads delivered.
only true in Durban
Umhlanga, Ballito, Westville, Pinetown, the Bluff, Amanzimtoti. Google shows people the businesses near them, so each area you serve needs its own reason to show you, not one page for the whole metro.
Durban’s port brings logistics, freight and the suppliers around them, and their buyers compare options at a desk. That search needs clear service pages and proof, not just a map listing.
Same time zone, every call online. You get the person doing the work, minus anyone pretending to have an office on the Golden Mile. Cape Town and Joburg clients get the same: see SEO in Cape Town and Johannesburg.
people I’ve worked with

Read the Silver Solutions Logistics case study →No, I’m one SEO consultant based in Cape Town, working with Durban businesses online. Same time zone, and you always talk to the person doing the work. If you want a local office to visit, I’m not your best fit.
With me, SEO is a monthly retainer with a 3-month minimum, then month to month, or a one-off audit to start. You’ll get a clear price on the call, before any work begins.
Early movement within a few months, stronger results after six. Local search, like the map pack, can move faster. Anyone promising page one in 30 days is targeting a keyword nobody searches.
Only for the areas you genuinely serve and can say something true about. A handful of strong area pages beats twenty copies with the suburb name swapped.
your move
No pitch. No pressure. I’ll look at what Durban buyers see when they search for what you sell and tell you what I’d fix first, whether or not we end up working together. Thirty minutes, no N2 traffic involved.
