SEO for Cape Town B2B and service businesses: local search, technical fixes and pages for the areas you actually serve. One consultant, start to finish.
the problem
Plenty of Cape Town firms have one page that says they serve the whole city, then hope Google sorts out the rest. It doesn’t. Someone searching in Durbanville and someone in Muizenberg see different map results, and a vague page rarely wins either of them.
what I do about it
I fix what’s slowing Google down first. Then I build pages for the services and areas you genuinely cover, and give your Google Business Profile the same care as your website. I report on calls and inquiries, not a rankings PDF.
pick one, or connect them all
Technical fixes, service and area pages, and Google Business Profile work, so you show up in the map pack where your customers are. Part of my SEO marketing across South Africa, on a monthly retainer or a one-off audit.
When the site itself is the bottleneck, I rebuild it with SEO in the foundations, like the new site and SEO I did for Fractional CEO. Typically 3–6 weeks, depending on size.
SEO, website, outbound and CRM follow-up run as one system. The follow-up replies in under two minutes, so a lead from Google doesn’t cool off over lunch.
only true in Cape Town
Northern Suburbs, Southern Suburbs, Atlantic Seaboard, the Helderberg. If you serve three of them, Google needs three good reasons to show you there, not one page that says “Cape Town and surrounds”.
For a service business here, the map pack is often the faster half of SEO. Categories, service areas, photos and reviews get the same attention as the website, because that’s where a lot of calls start.
Same city, same time zone, and the same SEO I do across South Africa. Calls are online by default, so the N1 at five o’clock never makes either of us late for one.
people I’ve worked with

SEO is a monthly retainer, or a one-off audit if you’d like to test the water first. Monthly work has a 3-month minimum, then rolls month to month. You’ll know the price before anything starts.
Early movement within a few months, stronger results after six. Local search, like the map pack, can move faster. Anyone promising page one in 30 days is targeting a keyword nobody searches.
No. You need a page for each area you genuinely serve and can say something true about. Twenty near-identical suburb pages is how sites get ignored, not ranked.
Technical fixes, pages for the searches buyers make, your Google Business Profile, and tracking that shows which searches turn into calls. No social posting or paid ads bundled in to pad the invoice.
your move
No pitch. No pressure. I’ll pull up what Google shows for your service in your area and tell you what I’d fix first, whether or not we end up working together. You’ll leave with a to-do list, not a sales deck.
